Ethics and Boundaries in Psychotherapy (Shrinking)
Nov 16, 2023 Season 2 Episode 5

Hi thirsties! Natalie and Camille are back today for a solo episode to discuss a new hit show, Shrinking (starring Jason Segel). The fictional show follows a psychotherapist moving through grief after his wife dies and leaves him the sole parent of his teenage daughter. It is of course a comedy show, but it brings up a lot of rich conversation surrounding ethical violations and boundaries within the therapeutic relationship (hint hint - he breaks a lot of his code of ethics!). Join us for to learn more about the nuances of ethics within the therapeutic relationships, where things are black and white, and where you may find those lovely gray areas :)
