On Thirsty for Therapy, Camille Tiberghien (ASW) and Natalie Vigent (AMFT), two associate therapists, get together weekly to engage in discussions about mental health, pop culture, being new clinicians, and the intersection of it all. Whether we’re diagnosing characters from your favorite TV shows or playing mental health trivia with special guests, you’re guaranteed to learn something new each week! (P.S. BONUS EPISODE ALERT! Natalie and Camille wrapped up Season 1 a few weeks ago, but Camille is back to give you all a bonus episode (cue clapping sounds). This week I am joined by Tammy Nguyen, BSW, and Denice Brambila, BA, fellow SDSU MSW students, to give you the lowdown on all things leadership and the impact of representation in TV and movies. Tammy, Denice, and I bring you this episode as a final project for our Social Work Administration: Leadership and Organizational Change class. Together we discuss various themes we have noticed in pop culture, how each of our cultures have led us to define leadership, and so much more.
